Lisa Elkner
Lisa Elkner is Managing Director at Strategic Cyber. She has over 20 years of experience in cyber security, governance, and assurance, working within Australian federal government and defence environments. Her experience spans ISM, PSPF, DISP, and Essential Eight, supporting organisations to implement, assess, and validate security controls and supporting evidence in practice. Prior to Strategic Cyber, Lisa was a Director at Deloitte, leading complex assurance and compliance engagements. Lisa is CISM-certified, AGSVA-cleared, and holds Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) status. She works directly with executives and boards to translate technical requirements into clear, defensible decisions.
Jason Smith
Jason is the General Manager – Technical Services with over 25 years of industry experience spanning ICT engineering, solution architecture, and cyber security. Since 2020, he has focused on cyber security, specialising in Essential Eight assessments and uplift services, leading large technical teams to deliver measurable security improvements for clients. Previously, Jason was a Partner at Tesserent, where he played a key role in delivering and scaling cyber security services. His leadership combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach.
